EXES

I recently received an e-mail from someone asking me my advice about ex gf/bf. I'm not a professional but I'll tell what I think.

Why do we have exes? We have exes because something along the line of the relationship something went wrong. My problem is why do folks allow exes to remain in there lives after the relationship has ended and why is it that the ex feel they can have say so on whats goes on in there exes your life ?

An ex is only gonna don't what you let them do. Once you say its over, it should be over. But some folks think just like that Heather Headley song " in my mind....I'll always be his lady....in my mind I'll always be his girl." NO it doesn't work like that. That's how folks get there feelings hurt. You can't lead people on for a minute but when your get tired of them you wanna throw the "your my ex" card in there face. Its not right nor fair.

So in the words of RL (BLACKSTREET) and Deborah Cox, you better tell that ex "We can't be friends."
